Engagement Photo.tif - RN: This was Connie’s Engagement Photo for the newspaper announcement. It was taken on 27 Jul 1951. What a beauty and what a precious daughter of God. She had pure faith in God and Jesus Christ and was a very dedicated worker all her days here on earth. She was born on February 15, 1923 and joined her mother and father in heaven on October 5, 2003. She left this mortal existence with these words “Well and faithfully done, enter into my joy and sit down on my throne." These words to the song "Come Let Us Anew" were being sung by the Tabernacle Choir. It was the closing song for the last session of Oct 2003 General Conference. Connie left us with a beautiful smile and a peaceful spirit. We, her family that was present, shall always feel of this sweet feeling of peace. Connie and I really enjoyed each other the last few years of her life. I have these sweet memories to buoy me up until I am called home."
